INR 1.61 Cr Gross Goods and Services Tax revenue collected for June 2023, Records 12% Growth
- Gross Goods and Services Tax Revenue collected in the month of June, 2023 is INR 1,61,497 crore of which Central Goods and Services Tax is INR 31,013 crore, state Goods and Services Tax is INR 38,292 crore, Integrated Goods and Services Tax is INR 80,292 crore (including INR 39,035 crore collected on import of goods) and cess is â¹11,900 crore (including â¹ 1,028 crore collected on import of goods).
- The government has settled INR 36,224 crore to Central Goods and Services Tax and INR 30269 crore to state Goods and Services Tax from Integrated Goods and Services Tax.
- Total revenue of Centre and the States in the month of June 2023 after regular settlement is INR 67,237 crore for Central Goods and Services Tax and INR 68,561 crore for the State Goods and Services Tax.
- Compared to the same month last year, The Gross revenues for the month of June 2023 are 12% greater than the GST receipts.
- In comparison to the same month last year, the revenue from domestic transactions (including the import of services) is 18% higher this month. The gross Goods and Services Tax revenue has surpassed INR 1.60 lakh Cr for the fourth time.
- The average monthly gross Goods and Services Tax collection for the 1st Quarter of the Financial Year 2021-22, Financial Year 22-23 & Financial Year 23-24 are INR 1.10 lakh crore, INR 1.51 lakh crore & INR 1.69 lakh crore respectively.
- Punjab collected INR 1965.93 Crore revenue in June 2023 as against INR 1682.50 Crore in June 22, showing growth of 17%.
- Uttar Pradesh collected INR 8104.15 Cr revenue in June 2023 as against INR 6834.51 crore in June 22, showing growth of 19%.
