This notice is crucial for chartered accountants to plan their UDIN generation before the migration and be ready for the new platform and mobile app. Members are hereby informed that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is planning to migrate the existing UDIN Portal to the ICAI DigiCA Platform on 20th December 2025. The upgraded platform will provide an enhanced user interface, improved usability, and additional features, in line with recent decisions of the ICAI Council. Migration of UDIN Portal to ICAI DigiCA Platform

  • Migration Date: The existing UDIN Portal will migrate to the ICAI DigiCA Platform on 20th December 2025.
  • Purpose of Migration: The upgraded system will offer an improved interface, Better usability, Enhanced features aligned with ICAI Council decisions

Important Points for ICAI Members

  • In view of the above migration activity, the current UDIN Portal will remain unavailable for all UDIN-related services, including generation and verification of UDINs, for an estimated period of 24 hours starting from 12:00 a.m. (midnight) on 19th December 2025. Members should generate all required UDINs before this downtime.
  • User Manual: A comprehensive guide will be available on the new platform for member assistance.
  • Mobile App Launch: A dedicated UDIN Mobile App (iOS and Android) will launch on 30th December 2025 for convenient access. Contact for Queries: Email: udin@icai.in
  • Members are advised to plan and complete their UDIN requirements in advance to avoid any inconvenience during the downtime.

Before Migration (By 19th December 2025)

  • Update Contact Details: Confirm your email ID and mobile number in ICAI records for receiving migration updates and alerts.
