It is a big question How to cancel an SRN Number approved by the Registrar of Companies? Yes, an approved SRN can be cancelled.
For that, we needed to visit the relevant respective Registrar of Companies of the states where the Company’s registered office is located.
Cancellation of SRN No. Approved by ROC procedure takes place offline & includes the processes and information & documents listed below: –
After filing the aforementioned documents, the Registrar of Companies will review the form on which the cancellation application was submitted, and the application will typically take 15-25 days to process.
Visit the relevant ROCs of the states where the Company’s registered office is located. Submit a few documents, including an application, an affidavit, and undertakings/declarations signed by any of the company’s directors, as well as the challan that needs to be cancelled.
Step 1: Login to the MCA21 application. and Go to the respective ROC of the state where the company’s registered office is located.
Step 2: Click the MCA Services tab. The list of MCA Services is displayed. and Submit a few documents, along with an application, affidavit, undertakings/declaration, and the challan that has to be cancelled, all of which must be signed by any of the company’s directors.
Step 3: Click the SRN / Transaction Status menu. The Track SRN Status page is displayed. After obtaining the aforementioned documents, the ROC will examine the form on which the cancellation application was submitted.
Step 4: Under the SRN field, we needed to enter the SRN to be cancelled and click & Submit. If the ROC determines the grounds for deficit, the application for SRN cancellation will be authorized, and the registrar will notify the applicant through email registered on the MCA master data.
Step 5: Click the Cancel SRN link available for the SRN. after that, the company would be able to file the updated form with additional fees.
In summary, an MCA SRN can be cancelled by filing an application to the ROC along with supporting papers, and the ROC has the discretion to approve or cancel the SRN.
