The central government has been authorised to pay the amount of refund towards state taxes the taxpayers,\u201d according to the 2019-20 budget.<\/li>\r\n<li>Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs through its Press Release has issued 12 Clarifications regarding Annual Returns and Reconciliation Statement. It is a welcome step by the government to clarify most of the issues for the benefit of Stakeholders, including the process to be followed by the assessee and the CBIC.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"RBI_Updates\"><\/span><strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/carajput.com\/rbi-consulting.php\">RBI<\/a> Updates:<\/em><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The financial system\u2019s liquidity is in \u201chuge\u201d surplus and the Union Budget\u2019s announcements related to non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) are adequate to take care of the liquidity needs of the sector, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das.<\/li>\r\n<li>\u201cOverall, the system liquidity is in huge surplus since June 1. We have also announced a liquidity back stock for banks to implement the NBFC package announced by the FM in the Budget. We have also decided to frontload the FALLCR, which will infuse additional liquidity\u2019 in a press conference after chairing the customary post-Budget board meeting of the central bank.<\/li>\r\n<li>The government is planning another round of overhaul of the foreign direct investment (FDI) policy with changes across sectors including insurance, contract manufacturing, digital media, and information utilities, besides single-brand retail trade, in line with the Budget announcements.\u00a0The insurance sector could be opened up to 74 per cent FDI under the approval route to bring parity with the banking sector, according to proposals under consideration.
