Proprietorship is not a separate legal entity; the proprietor (business owner) and the business are the same. The process is identical to that of filing an individual income tax return.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Filing requirements for sole proprietorship tax returns include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Proprietors under the age of 60 with an annual income of more than Rs.2.5 lakh are required to file proprietorship tax returns.
