color: #000080;\">New\u00a0The Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014\u00a0Law:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E-Form DIR-3 KYC is required to be filed pursuant to Rule 12A and Rule 11(2) and (3) of The <a href=\"https:\/\/carajput.com\/blog\/process-of-company-registration-in-india\/\">Companies<\/a> (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"According_to_rule_12A_following_persons_have_to_fill_the_e-form_DIR-3_KYC\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>According to rule 12A following persons have to fill the e-form DIR-3 KYC:-<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Every individual who has been allotted a Director Identification Number (DIN) as on 31st March of a financial year. Due date of filing e-form DIR-3 KYC On or before 30th April of immediate next Financial Year.<\/li>\n<li>Every individual who has already been allotted a DIN as at 31st March, 2018 and whose DIN status is &#8216;Approved&#8217;. Due date of filing e-form DIR-3 KYC for them is On or before 31st August, 2018.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"KEY_Points\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">KEY Points:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Form shall be verified by\u00a0MOBILE OTP\u00a0and\u00a0E-MAIL OTP.<\/li>\n<li>The form should be filed by every Director using his own DSC and should be duly certified by a practicing professional.<\/li>\n<li>NO GOVT. FEE, if KYC filed before\u00a031st August by applicant who has been allotted DIN on or before 31st March, 2018<\/li>\n<li>INR 5000\/- Govt. fees shall be applicable, if KYC filed after 31st August by applicant.<\/li>\n<li>Filing of DIR-3 KYC would be mandatory for Disqualified Directors also.<\/li>\n<li>e-Form DIR \u2013 3 KYC, need to file based on DIRECTOR IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (DIN), so even though, if any Director holding multiple Directorship in Company, then also they need to File e-Form DIR \u2013 3 KYC, only once according to their DIN.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:
