initiatives of the New Government of India, led by Mr. Narendra Modi is the new \u201cMake in India &#8221;<br \/>\nThe program, The objective is to make India a manufacturing hub for the work and to attract the major Industries<br \/>\nacross the globe to set up their manufacturing facilities in India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Make in India program includes major new initiatives designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation,<br \/>\nprotect intellectual <a href=\"https:\/\/carajput.com\/blog\/tag\/faq-on-selling-of-property\/\">property<\/a>, and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most importantly, the Make in India program represents an attitudinal shift in how India relates to investors;<br \/>\nnot as a permit-issuing authority, but as a true business partner.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Dedicated teams that will guide and assist first-time investors, from time of and railways\u00a0are now open to global participation.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Policy in Defense sector liberalized and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caindelhiindia.com\/blog\/implications-ma-more-secure-on-making-fdi-in-india-inflows\/\">FDI<\/a> cap raised from 26% to 49%.<\/li>\n<li>Portfolio investment in Defense sector permitted up to 24% under the automatic route.<\/li>\n<li>100% FDI allowed in Defense sector for modern and state of the art technology on case to case basis.<\/li>\n<li>100% FDI under automatic route permitted in construction, operation and maintenance in specified Rail Infrastructure projects such as:<\/li>\n<li>Suburban corridor projects through PPP<\/li>\n<li>High speed train projects<\/li>\n<li>Dedicated freight lines<\/li>\n<li>Rolling stock including train sets and locomotives\/coaches manufacturing and maintenance facilities Railway electrification<\/li>\n<li>Signaling systems<\/li>\n<li>Freight terminals<\/li>\n<li>Passenger terminals<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure in industrial park pertaining to railway line\/sidings including electrified railway lines and Boilers Act.<\/li>\n<li>Major components of the Defense products list excluded from industrial licensing.<\/li>\n<li>Dual-use items having military as well as civilian applications The big leap was attributed by producing mobile devices that grew from $2.9 billion in paltry to $24.3 billion. Now India is the world&#8217;s second-largest mobile manufacturing center.
