Geocoding can be used to verify fake registrations and determine the precise location of a registered entity.<\/li>\n<li>The functionality for geocoding the primary place of business address is now available for all States and Union territories, according to an advisory from the GSTN.<\/li>\n<li>In order to assure the accuracy of address facts in GSTN records and speed the address location and verification procedure, this technology was implemented that translates an address or description of a location into geographic coordinates.<\/li>\n<li>Once you&#8217;ve submitted the geocoding information, the geocoding link won&#8217;t be available on the portal.<\/li>\n<li>This is a one-time activity, and after submission, address changes are not permitted. Taxpayers who have already geocoded their addresses through new registration or core amendment will not be able to use the service.<\/li>\n<li>Please be aware that only the core amendment process will allow you to update the address listed on your registration certificate.
