(Incorporation) Rules, 2014,\u00a0w.e.f. 26th January, 2016<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">[Notification dated 22nd January, 2016].<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Highlights of these amendments, in brief, are :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_the_name_proposed_is_%E2%80%94\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>Where the name proposed is \u2014<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Not in consonance with the principal objects of the company\u00a0<em>[(ii) of\u00a0clause\u00a0(b) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 8]<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Vague [e.g. ABC Limited] or an abbreviated name [e.g. BMCD Limited (Bharat Mahesh Chandan and David)]\u00a0<em>[(x) of\u00a0clause\u00a0(b) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 8]<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Likely to produce a misleading impression regarding the scope or scale of activities\u00a0<em>[(xvii) of\u00a0clause\u00a0(b) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 8]<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">which, inter alia, were earlier considered undesirable,\u00a0omitted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>Similarly, the requirement of \u2014<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Changing its name where any company changed its activities [to bring it in line with changed activities]<br \/>\n<em>[sub-rule (3) of Rule 8]<\/em><\/li>\n<li>\u2018No objection\u2019, where the key word used in the name proposed is of another person than that of the promoter etc., from that another person, or<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Proof of relation\u2019 where the name includes the name of a relative\u00a0<em>[sub-rule (4) of Rule 8]<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">has been done away with.\u00a0 In other words, the above are now not relevant for approval etc. of a name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\"><strong>Regarding<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>submission of documents<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>one more opportunity to remove defects or deficiencies, as intimated by the Registrar.\u00a0 In other words, an applicant will now have, in all, three opportunities, in place of the hitherto before two opportunities.<br \/>\n<em>[clause (ba) to sub-rule (12) of Rule 36\u00a0inserted]<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
